Finally, a better day?
Investiture day. I shall not talk abt the hiccups and make myself stressed up all over again. Its over. that's wad matters. i was so tensed up and so afraid of laughing halfway thru or something, i never once looked at the audience. Esp the 22nd B.O.D. hahaha... with my head down, i could see Marcus's irritating foot tapping tapping tapping. rawr!
never mind. its over. i din laugh. almost, once, but it was induction and i wuz at the back. But i think my year 3 senior, Jessica saw me. hahah... nvm. After rushing here and there, i finally got to meet Jaime and Jun Jie. Jun Jie is this guy i first met at Hwa Chong carnival when he is doing traffic control. His surname happens to be Lin. Haha. He is Jaime's good fren, the brother-brother kinda pal and he's a really nice guy. He also acted in 黄成's <七彩爱情>. yeah. Just now when jaime went to get us drinks, we talked a little, den later a bit here and dere. he's a great guy la, seriously. haha.. nice to talk to, hang out with etc. After dinner with them, we went to HC and i we were almost late. OOps. My fault, cuz i left sch late, or rather, behing scheduled time. Which was... 7:30am-8:30am 《红楼梦》lesson. 8:30am-9:30am Breakfast (Din eat in the end cuz buy flowers for tchers) 9:30am-10:15am Meeting with B.O.D 10:15am-11:00am Decorations. 11:00am-11:15am Induction ceremony B.O.D rehersal 11:15am-1:00pm Decorations. 1:00pm-2:30pm Final run-thru 2:30pm Photographer arrives, to be briefed. Everything to be ready. 3:00pm-4:15pm Investiture 4:15pm-4:30pm Reception. 4:30pm-5:15pm Travelling time to Anchorpoint 5:15pm-6:45pm Dinner and Shop for stuff needed 6:45pm-7:10pm Travel to Hwa Chong 7:10pm-7:15pm Be seated etc 7:15pm-10:00pm 歌谣节 10:00pm-11:30pm Get home. Haha. sorry Jaime, Jun Jie! Anyway, 歌谣 was great. There's this guy who has a really nice voice. 会被他歌声所感动。He performed two songs, both were great. I love the song 《爱到这里》 lyrics. He wrote it. Then another song was special and really really good. Lyrics good, melody good, performing good. The title was 《毒苹果》. But its really really nice. It won most popular song. And it should win. That guy really deserves it. He sang first verse only i wanna 掉眼泪了。。。 Then came all the alumni performance, which were all really good too. Than was this LEP girl, who is supposedly this HC 才女。In music la. Having won alot of very prestigious competitions etc. She sang her own composition and a Sun yan Zi song. I seriously think she got her own style and her style is can fight with Sun yan Zi wan lo. She is GOOD. Tay Ping Hui appeared next. He went on stage, put his guitar on a stand and my first reaction was "他的guitar跟他一样，只是拿来摆美？". Haha. But this guy is smart. He knew not alot of the audience likes him. So his first sentence to us was "I think hwa Chong Junior College should still be Hwa Chong Junior College." That won majority of the audience over, judging from the loud applause and cheers. haha. including me and Jaime. He made us sit up (a little). He played Harmonica and Guitar, so maybe he isn that completely good for nothing as we thought, although he is not really good either. But that's not the point, you see. His performance was entertaining. Just like Soon Kiat and Alexis, the emcees for the night. They were really lame and crappy, but funny la. And they were like bickering in front of Tay Ping Hui. Gosh. hahahahaha....... Enjoyed myself on the whole. Although i am so tired and drained!!!! No energy left le! And i haven recovered from that headache i got this afternoon cuz i too stressed up abt being installed as part of the B.O.D in front of a quite full LT1 and having to sit first row on the stage almost through-out the whole thing, right smack in the middle. Dunno why. got a really bad headache the whole day after that. Eunice and i got a bit fever too. She also headache. rawr~ maybe too stressed, too nervous, too worried abt what WILL happen but din happen, or maybe just the unbearable heat. argh, cant stand it le. gotta go sleep. if not i'm gonna konk out tomorrow at church. The headache's getting worse by the minute. nite! Joyce at 11:26 PM
